The glyph top is a relaxed, slightly cropped, sleeveless top with an elegant rolled boatneck neckline and a chartreuse hem detail. Made from 50% cotton 50% linen, it drapes beautifully and magically softens with every wear. Choose your glyphs, available in 14 colors of brushed mohair/alpaca/silk. The glyph top comes with 3 free glyphs—add as many glyphs as you want for an additional fee.
Inspired by paint residue clinging to a brick wall from a mural worn down by the elements, or designs on ceramic faded after years of touch and use, the glyph top is nostalgic, dreamy, and a little bit... off. The hand-stitched glyphs create a fuzzy halo that stands out from the fabric.
MATERIALS // Body: 50% cotton, 50% linen / Edging: 100% wool / Glyphs: various blends of mohair/alpaca/silk. 100% natural, quality fibers.
FIT & SIZE GUIDE // The Glyph Top is a relaxed fit meant to be worn with a few inches of ease from your body. Please measure your bust/chest at its fullest point to determine your size. (This measurement is not your bra's band size so it's best to measure to be sure!) XS fits bust 30-32" S fits bust 33-35" M fits bust 36-38" L fits bust 38-42" XL fits bust 43-46" If your size is not represented above, please submit the form anyway and include a note with your bust measurement—I'll likely be able to make it, and I'll message you right away to confirm. I appreciate your patience and your feedback about sizing as I'm in these early stages of Doing Laundry :) In between sizes? We recommend sizing down. Models: Hannah has a 34" bust and wears size S. Kat has a 40" bust and wears size L.
TURNAROUND TIME // All tops are custom and made to order. Processing time is 2-8 weeks, first come, first served.
SHIPPING // U.S.: $5 flat rate LOCAL: Chicago pickup option - FREE (let me know in the notes if you'd like to pickup from the studio in Humboldt Park.) INTERNATIONAL: We ship anywhere! Buyer will be responsible for shipping cost & customs, which I'll calculate and confirm for you when I email you the confirmation. This is a little clunky but it's the best method as Doing Laundry is just getting off the ground—thanks for your patience :) RUSH: You won't be able to cut to the front of the line for quicker processing time, BUT we can definitely rush the shipping! Let me know at the time of placing an order if you'd like quicker shipping after it's finished being made. Buyer will be responsible for extra fees, which I will estimate for you when I send the confirmation email.
